Protect your teeth from damage

Mouthguards are essential protective devices for those participating in contact sports, safeguarding teeth and surrounding oral structures from potential injuries. We specialise in custom-fitted mouthguards crafted using chairside impressions for optimal comfort and protection. Additionally, we offer a range of nightguards/biteguards/splints designed to address bruxism (teeth grinding/clenching).

These appliances, available in various materials and customised to individual needs, help alleviate jaw pain, prevent tooth wear, and protect against temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. We use both digital scans and traditional impressions to ensure accurate and effective treatment.

Why have a custom mouthguard?

  • Protect your teeth while playing high-contact sports
  • Reduce the risk of damage during certain activities, such as cycling
  • Minimise tooth wear and pain caused by teeth grinding at night
  • A precise and comfortable fit for the best protection
  • Stronger and more durable than the over-the-counter options

What does the treatment process involve?

The process for a custom-made mouthguard typically involves a few steps. Firstly, we take a digital impression of your upper and lower jaw, using our advanced technology for a comfortable experience.

This impression is then sent to a dental laboratory where a technician will make a model of your teeth. Using this model, your custom mouthguard is created, tailored to your specific bite and jaw structure.

Once the mouthguard is ready, we show you how to fit it in your mouth and make any adjustments to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. We give you advice and instructions on how to care for your mouthguard and when to use it.
